Student Researcher, Marian Mejia Represents SSU

November 3, 2020

Marian Mejia is one of three SSU Social Science Scholars chosen to represent Sonoma State in the Council for Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC) Undergraduate Research, Scholarly, and Creative Activity (URSCA) program.

Marian's work, “Community Gardens: Community (Dis)Engagement in Roseland, CA” will be presented at the Midwest/West Regional Virtual URSCA Conference (password: TRUMAN2020), and the live event will be held on Saturday, November 14th, 2020. Students have been working hard to video record their presentations, which will be uploaded very soon to the event site linked above. Once posted, these project recordings should be viewed ahead of the live event on November 14th where each presenter will have 5 minutes to respond to questions posed by the audience.

Access to the live event on November 14th is available by using the following Zoom link (Password: TRUMAN2020). Please note that the conference schedule reflects Eastern Standard Time.

Dr. Jeff Baldwin was Marian's Faculty Mentor for this very important work!
