Micheal Enz Writes:
I have just been selected to participate in NASA's DEVELOP program, focusing on Earth Science and Geospatial Analysis out of the Ames Research Center.
Starting on June 7th and continuing ten weeks thereafter, I will be a member of a 4-person team under the guidance of a NASA Science Advisor researching urgent environmental issues in Louisiana, Florida, and Puerto Rico, utilizing remote sensing and geospatial analysis techniques and practices. At the end of those 10 weeks, my team will deliver the results to the collaborating agency, as well as present the results of our research at an administration-wide teleconference.
I am incredibly excited for this amazing opportunity, and cannot thank the entire GEP departmental staff enough for providing me with the tools and skills necessary to embark on a challenging adventure such as this. I am so fortunate to have come through this department during a time that such incredible Professors and Instructors were there to assist me in my education, and impart even just a fraction of their knowledge onto me.
