Minors

GEOGRAPHY AND ENVIRONMENT
This minor provides an opportunity for students to compliment their major degree with suite of courses that develops their understanding of the environmental systems, policies, and management. Some students use this minor to develop specific technical and professional skills that are available through the department (such as GIS, data analysis, and planning. Others choose to deepen their understanding of human-environment relations more broadly, using the minor to explore a wide range of courses available within the department.

SUSTAINABILITY
This minor is designed for students who would like to explore the issue of sustainability in its broadest sense. The minor is interdisciplinary, which means that students take classes from many different departments across the University. Students explore three different aspects of sustainability, including environmental systems, environmental stewardship, and environmental justice.
