Map Library

The Map Library houses an extensive collection of digital and paper maps, and aerial photography.

The air photo collection includes:

Sonoma County coverages from 1942, 1952, and 1968. Miscellaneous coverages in California from US Forest Service Photos illustrating geological features in US & around the world. The GEP Department maintains a fairly extensive collection of conventional maps as well mostly of northern California, but other national and international areas are also represented.

Thematic Maps (Paper) include:

• Geologic maps
• Land-use maps
• National Geographic Society maps
• Nautical charts
